The Seven things you should see in Florence Italy

A reflective walk through Florence and the landmarks that make it unforgettable.

Ponte Vecchio over the Arno River in Florence

Florence is a city that seems to hold light differently. We began near the Arno, where the river carries the color of the sky beneath the familiar arches of Ponte Vecchio.

The best way to see the city is to leave space between the must-see moments. A side street can lead to a tiny café, a quiet church, or a view that makes you stop without knowing why.

By evening, the stone facades warmed and the river became a mirror. Florence did not feel like a checklist of landmarks; it felt like a city asking us to linger.
