We are on the train in Denver. We should make Chicago by early afternoon tomorrow. We had enough time today to visit the Alpine visitor center at Rocky Mountian Park. Wow, wow, wow…you could see Wyoming 34 miles away. The views were unreal. The pics dont really capture it. It took a few minutes to aclimate to being on top of the world at 12,000 feet. Check out the pics in both the Rocky Mountian parks and the train section. We will put a new section up this weekend with our favorites so check back.

Rapping up 2022 we made two trips to North Carolina this year.  We spent time in Brevard and Highlands.  We did a lot of great hiking so check out the pictures and videos.

Well we made it home in time to prep for hurricane Irma.  The boats are all tide down and all the outdoor furniture is put away.  We left the island yesterday and we are in Greensboro waiting out the storm.  Hope for the best.  I hope to have time to edit the pics this week…

We have been rained out for the last two days.  Yesterday we spent some time in Waynesville.  It is a nice downtown with a number of restaurants and plenty of places to get something for the mantel.  Today we drove all the way to the trail thinking that it would stop raining at any moment. …
