Our first day in the Rocky Mountian National park. We got an up close look at a moose. We are staying at a hotel on grand lake. The lake is the largest natural lake in Colorado and is at an altitude of 8,367 feet. We hiked today to Cascade falls, just over 8 miles. The falls were at about 9,000 ft our higest hike so far. It is warm here in the afternoon (91), however the humidity is only 6% and there is a nice alpine beeze. As soon as it hits the daily high it starts to cool off right away….last night to 48 degrees. Tomorrow its off to another waterfall. Check out the new pics. I moved the train pics to another page to help speed up loading.
