We have been rained out for the last two days.  Yesterday we spent some time in Waynesville.  It is a nice downtown with a number of restaurants and plenty of places to get something for the mantel.  Today we drove all the way to the trail thinking that it would stop raining at any moment.  Well it didn’t so we headed back to the cabin.  I took a few more pictures around the cabin today.  We were able to get in a two and half mile walk around the property and we found a few more waterfall.

Well we made it home in time to prep for hurricane Irma.  The boats are all tide down and all the outdoor furniture is put away.  We left the island yesterday and we are in Greensboro waiting out the storm.  Hope for the best.  I hope to have time to edit the pics this week…

The weather and or the weatherman has not been our best friend the last two days.  Yesterday the weather kept us from doing any hiking.  Today we were able to visit Lake Junaluska again and take the 4 mile trail around the lake.  The weatherman said it would rain all afternoon and at this point…
