We traveled about an hour south today to another part of the Smokey Mountian Park.  We were in the land of tubers.  The Deep River trail system.  We hiked just under 5 miles with two steep sections putting our climbing at just under 900 feet.  The trails were very good and the sceanery was very excellent.  There were three waterfalls and a lot of rapids.  The trail was 95% in the shade.  Todays pics are below.  To see the entire trip go to gallery then to North Carolina then to Waynesville.
