Today we headed south on the Blue Ridge Parkway.  Wow very nice.  We went to an area in the Great Smokey Mountain Park called Smokemont.  We hiked the Tow String Trial.  It was not a difficult day, 4.7 miles and 725 ft of elevation.  However it was a horse trail and it rained a few days ago so it was a challenge getting around all of the muddy spots.  Some of the trail ran along the Oconauftee river which was very nice.  We may head back to this area to take another trail that follows this river.  Enjoy the photos.
